After listening to The Boatmans Call a lot this week I've decided to look into Nick Cave a bit more so just bought
Let Love In
The Good Son
Abbatoir Blues
No More Shall We Part
And doesn't count as totally new as I used to have it on tape but someone borrowed it about 20 years ago and I never got it back so also bought The La's album as well.
Really sad that HMV are closing most of their stores but the CDs were cheap!

Last thing I added was yesterday I added "First Rays of the New Rising Sun" by Jimi Hendrix. Pretty cool record. There was really so much great music that he coulda shoulda made but didn't. The song "Night bird" (forgot exact name) is awesome!

Never too late! The most "classic" records I still can't beleive I don't own are Abbey Road and Dark Side of Tbe Moon.

Three discs, 102 tracks consisting of everything Johnny Cash ever recorded for Sun Records, including alternate takes and unreleased material. Plus a nice big booklet with lots of pics and

Those are amazing additions! That Cash box set is pretty awesome! There are some great gems in there. And the national Boxer album is very important to me! And the Ramones is absolutely godly too! Great stuff! I'd say each of the first 4 Ramones records are just about perfection as far as pure rock and roll go.
