21. Hey Jude
22. Get Back

Get Back was also one of the last handful of songs the Beatles played together on the roof.

Which was the last time they played together (in public).... period.

Yeah, they also played "Don't Let Me Down" on that one, I think. Let it Be was a great movie!

What I find strange about those times and the breakup and all is how well Paul and John seemed 2 be getting along on the roof Think

Don't Let Me Down

Yeah, it does seem strange. Think
Boy, Spector's treatment of The Long and Winding Road REALLY must have angered Paul!

O.K. Rubber Soul has been mentioned so I must jump in for I have that album at #2 on my chart.

IMO this is the most underrated song on Rubber Soul and is one of the most underrated songs ever.

The lyrics are as great as any I've ever known and I would give my left nut 2 be able 2 write a song like it.

GIRL

Link

Is there anybody going to listen to my story
All about the girl who came to stay?
She's the kind of girl you want so much
It makes you sorry
Still, you don't regret a single day
Ah girl
Girl

When I think of all the times I've tried so hard to leave her
She will turn to me and start to cry
And she promises the earth to me
And I believe her
After all this times I don't know why
Ah, girl
Girl

She's the kind of girl who puts you down
When friends are there, you feel a fool
When you say she's looking good
She acts as if it's understood
She's cool
Girl
Girl

Was she told when she was young that pain
Would lead to pleasure?
Did she understand it when they said
That a man must break his back to earn
His day of leisure?
Will she still believe it when he's dead?
Ah girl
Girl

Ah girl
Girl

I thought people may want 2 pick the most underrated Beatles song(s)

Because
Chains (an irresistible cover of a Brill Building song)
Cry For A Shadow (great early instrumental)
Dig A Pony
Every Little Thing
Hey Bulldog
Hold Me Tight (often criticised for the singing, but it's a very well written tune)
I Call Your Name
If You've Got Trouble (begs to be covered by a punk band in faster tempo)
I'll Be Back
I'll Cry Instead (perhaps the best of their Dylan-inspired numbers)
I'll Follow The Sun
I'm Down (The Beatles at their rocking best, amazingly it was recorded at the same session as "Yesterday")
I've Just Seen A Face ("Yesterday" session again, I believe)
Mother Nature's Son
Old Brown Shoe
The Inner Light
The Night Before (impossibly catchy)
Things We Said Today
What's The New Mary Jane (could have been used instead of "Revolution 9" on The White Album, or, even better, as part of a "What's The New Mary Jane" / "Revolution 9" medley)
Words Of Love (a Buddy Holly cover with nice guitar work)
Yes It Is (some of their best three-part harmonies)
You Can't Do That (what a great heavy riff we have here !)
You Wont See Me (with a most sophisticated chord sequence)

Possibly my favourite Beatles song:

Link

Such a lovely melody:

Others that come to mind: Fixing a Hole, For No One, Here, There and Everywhere, ...

They're all from the albums that are considered as "classics", so I'm not sure if they qualify as underrated... But they rarely get mentioned in any discussions, so yeah...
