Only two of the albums I nominated actually made it (The Parallax and A Dramatic Turn Of Events). I haven't even listened to the other three yet - I'm guessing they're from Necharsian and Wolf?

THE MOST OVERRATED ALBUM OF THE YEAR

an award not neccesarily for a bad album but one that most listeners found didn't live up to the hype.

Angles - The Strokes

Does anyone actually rate this for it to be overrated? I guess even a little bit of praise for this album is too much.

Bon Iver, Bon Iver - Bon Iver

Naturally any album given #1 by pitchfork will appear on the most overrated albums.

Helplessness Blues - Fleet Foxes

And of course the highest ranked 2011 album on BEA

The King Of Limbs - Radiohead

it's Radiohead.

Let England Shake - PJ Harvey

Polly got lots of accolades this year, having statistically the most critically acclaimed album of the year. So naturally lots of hate will follow.
