I would lose a lot of money because I wouldn't want to sell any of the records...

Anyway, if you owned a store, what kind of stuff would you sell, what would it be called, etc.[/i]

I think I would sell jazz (real jazz, not smooth jazz). No one seems to do that anymore, and I think that would be really neat.

called something like Sax on the Beach...

I'd call mine, Free Drugs Here, just as a way to get people into the store. Anyway, I don' think that i would limit it to one specific style of music, i would just try to sell albums that i feel have been criminally ignored by music listeners.

I´d probably go bankrupt very soon, wanting to keep whole carts of the records for sale for myself.

I would own a store that sold only metal music. I would call it The Metal Shop.

There are still a handful here in Colorado that seem to be doing fairly well.

Owning a record store was always a dream for me. I'd sell everything, and I'd probably live there. Only the best music would play. It would be called simply Romanelli's. It would be the happiest place on earth. I'd be cooler than John Cusack in High Fidelity, and more awesome than the entire cast of Empire Records combined.

Unfortunately, it's not a smart business to start these days. Oh well.....

lolRecordStores

Half Priced Books is all I need :p. And Amazon. And eMusic. Very Happy

But if I were to have a radio station... Twisted Evil

It would be an avant-garde station that only played weird, noisy stuff, such as:
*Captain Beefheart
*Frank Zappa
*Electric Wizard
*Sigur Ros
*Comus

...You get my point.

My brother and I have joked about making a pirate radio station like this on top of the local Top 40 one, but we don't want to get arrested Razz

I'd name it Shoes and Soul

Haven't but much thought into this,I just like the name.

If you owned a record store you would soon be bankrupt because too many people buy or pirate digital music.
