Yeah, me too. And this is coming from someone who used to have Out to Lunch as his favorite jazz album..

Sorry, but this album is just way too long. And the psychedelia feels too Tangerine Dream like to me.

Lol, comparing this to Tangerine Dream is... inaccurate. Besides, Tangerine Dream are awesome, so comparing anything to them shouldn't be used as criticism (in my world).

I like how unpredictable this album is. On some listens it sounds like you're in a jungle and being hunted by carnivorous beast, while other times it just sounds very relaxing and refreshing. A very exotic and attractive record - it might be a little too long, but the material is top notch throughout.

This album was my introduction to Miles Davis. I like it a lot. But, then again, I am really into the whole psychedelia-thing and album length has never been an issue with me, either.

Great album and artist. Saw him perform most of this album live in NYC. Best track: Miles runs the Voodoo Down.

Not too long, there is even a longer version: Davis, Miles-The Complete Bitches Brew Sessions

And I thought I was awesome for having seen Return to Forever live - that sounds mindblowing at least. Which year was that?
