I have important exams coming up soon (euphemism), and I was wondering what kind of music YOU listen to when stressed out.
I tend to turn to classical first : Bach's "Goldberg" variations for harpsicord, Mozart's "Symphony n°40"
If I need a boost, I usually go for Sonic Youth's "Dirty"
And for relaxing, all post-rock and lo-fi : Sigur Ros, Sparklehorse..

something chilled out that doesn't break your concentration. For this, I like Air, Ennio Morricone, Mazzy Star, Orb, Aphex Twin etc

I just put the iPod on shuffle. Mainly on a playlist that I've narrowed down to my top 1600 or so songs. Yes, narrowed down.
Right now I'm listening to "How Can I Live Without You" by Cracker.

If I'm stressed (like for my final exams coming up), I'll listen to miles davis or pink floyd, maybe arcade fire, leonard cohen, bob dylan--occasionally even classical music like chopin or dvorak or whatever. Intelligent music, usually pretty slow. Helps me think and relax
If I'm POd, I'll listen to Eminem, Dr. Dre, Rage or Metallica LOL _________________ "I'm so ugly but that's OK cause so are you"
