"All apologies" kicks any other Nirvana song ass very very HARD.
"In utero" has some other brilliant songs i love like "very ape", "frances farmer", "rape me" and "dumb" but I like more the flow of Nevermind. And second track on "in utero" ruins it to me too.

I need to listen to In Utero more Confused I liked it the first time I listened to it, and the second, but just haven't listened to it since that...

I'll abstain. But Nevermind, currently, would get my vote.

I agree that Scentless Apprentice is a pretty weak track, but I've personally always felt the same about Something in the Way (the latter hurts its respective album a lot more, too, because it's the final track).

I'm gonna have to abstain because it's an impossible choice, my favourite will change depending on what mood I'm in.

I suppose In Utero is deeper but there'd be no shame in picking Nevermind as favourite because it is just such an incredible album.

Frances Farmer is probably my fav. Nirvana song so maybe In Utero? It's too close to call though.

Nevermind. Most of my favorite Nirvana songs are on it (In Bloom, On a Plain, Lithium).

I'm going to cop out and say that neither album is perfect. Both have some great songs and both are flawed in places. I will say even though I mostly like it, In Utero, seems self-consciously abrasive in places and somewhat contrived, like Cobain was deliberately trying to be difficult just to challenge the record industry and his new fans (obviously, initially employing the indie ideologue Steve Albini as producer suggests this intent) Radio Friendly Unit Shifter strikes me as more pretentious than rebellious now.

#132 Nevermind
#961 In Utero

Nirvana only made one album worth listening to. It's a very good one.

In Utero is a very good album, no arguing there
But... come on
Nevermind is one of those things that defined the history of modern music...
