"All apologies" kicks any other Nirvana song ass very very HARD.
"In utero" has some other brilliant songs i love like "very ape", "frances farmer", "rape me" and "dumb" but I like more the flow of Nevermind. And second track on "in utero" ruins it to me too.

I agree that Scentless Apprentice is a pretty weak track, but I've personally always felt the same about Something in the Way (the latter hurts its respective album a lot more, too, because it's the final track).
I'm going to cop out and say that neither album is perfect. Both have some great songs and both are flawed in places. I will say even though I mostly like it, In Utero, seems self-consciously abrasive in places and somewhat contrived, like Cobain was deliberately trying to be difficult just to challenge the record industry and his new fans (obviously, initially employing the indie ideologue Steve Albini as producer suggests this intent) Radio Friendly Unit Shifter strikes me as more pretentious than rebellious now.
