I was just having a discussion with a friend about this the other day, and a discussion on YouTube, but what was the deal with musicians putting comedians in their music videos during the 80's? Chevy Chase in the Paul Simon video, Robin Williams in the Bobby McFerrin video, Bill Murray in the Buster Poindexter video, John Goodman (if he can be considered a comedian) in the Talking Heads video, and I don't know, maybe I'm forgetting some others. For the most part they were very cheesy. Chevy Chase was especially hard to watch in the You Can Call Me Al video. Who came up with this idea? Because it was pretty lame.
I guess all of those were better than John Stamos in the Beach Boys video. _________________ My shoes hurt!! - Mr. Show
Hey kids! How about the posthumous Notorious B.I.G. video featuring Tracy Morgan in which you can't hear any of Biggie's rap, because they spend so much fucking time talking over it?
