Dude, you spend too much time spewing hatred about mainstream music. Why bother? If you don't like it, don't listen to it. Simple as that.

Just take a deep breath and chill out.

As for the actual topic, Dark Side is the best. Followed by The Wall, Meddle, and Wish You Were Here. In that order.

What about Animals Necharsian Question

So? I said this in another thread, but maybe you didn't see it - it doesn't matter.

Will hearing a Beyonce or Katy Perry song on the radio while you're out keep you from having a good time? If you SERIOUSLY get hung up on that, you should lighten the fuck up, because it isn't something worth becoming a social pariah over.

I'll go out to clubs, bars, parties and whatever, and they'll usually be playing a lot of shit that might not be my cup of tea. So? I still have a great time. It really doesn't bother me. I don't brood over it and bitch about how I'd "rather be listening to Traced In Air", I just go with it. It's not like it'll KILL ME to listen to radiopop once in awhile when my friends are.

i am more upset about the formatting of classic rock stations and those stations influence on society.

they have been playing the same 123 songs every day for the last 25 years.

some of these songs sucked in 1977 when they came out and i still have to hear them in 2012.

hearing some of these songs one time every three years is too much

Very true.

Do you have college radio where you come from? Listen to that if you hate mainstream radio so much.

Not sure where you are but you should be able to get BBC6music online wherever. You hear songs on there that you won't ever hear anywhere else, each time you listen is an education.

Not allowed to post a URL but just search BBC 6music you'll find it.

Pretty much ALL commercial radio sucks badly.
