I don't understand this statement, how can be a genre "overrated"? There are good and bad albums in every genre, plus "postpunk" is hardly a genre in itself, more a period of time IMO.
Anyway, I love this record. It's very good from start to fiunish. However, oddly enough, I've never bothered to listen to any other Gang of Four LPs. Are they good? |
I've personally listened to 3 other albums: Solid Gold, Songs of the free and Hard. The one worth listening to is definitely Solid Gold a very good album (80/100), you can't be disappointed by this one. The other 2 are just okay albums, I wouldn't recommend them really.
