I know a lot of the artists I nominated weren't born in the cities I've nominated them for; they were born in small towns around the cities I've nominated them for though. It's up to you, harkan, how much leeway you want to give me here; I just want to represent great Texas music that happens to be spread across several small po-dunk towns

You are already spreading the sauce quite thin by including Neil Young as a Toronto artist (sure he was born there but then not much else ...) so including Joni Mitchell as a Toronto artist would be pushing it too far.

I was going to do Salford, UK (which is actually where I was born) but I notice that Norman has (wrongly) attributed Joy Division and New Order to Manchester instead of Salford 
Norman - can you please find two other bands from Manchester (city as opposed to 'Greater Manchester' - it's not like there aren't heaps to choose from)....
