No, that's what the answer is! All these musicians, they are all divided into their petty "genres" and trends! Evil or Very Mad It's like... how are people even supposed to do it anymore? The internet was supposed to give much more chances but all this is so hard to put together. I have the songs, I can do this.

You're forgetting that I once formed a queercore industrial band with my Beyonce-obsessed ex-boyfriend, a classically-trained accordian player, a death metal drummer and a funk bassist.

Just take whoever and whatever you can get, diversity is key to making beautiful, original music.

...we didn't though, we just did MDMA and smashed keyboards like wild monkeys.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I GOT IT! The key to understanding this post is to keep reading it till you're insane.

That has a side effect, though. Everything in the world will suddenly start making sense.

This thread was made from frustration more than anything else and feel better today Razz But what you say here, well it is something I have been thinking about. However I start to worry because I don't to ask someone who is too different. I think they get might be annoyed or angry at me. And my bands and artists end up being so varied that I think I might draw people away.

Some might put "Oasis, Stone Roses, The Smiths, Blur etc" and others might go for "Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, AC/DC etc". I will be able to find common ground with both those people but can hardly put them together.

Plus on top of the fact I am looking for a bass player and drummer specifically, the whole thing seems fruitless at times.
