Well, I can't stand Paranoid, their so-called masterpiece, so I haven't even given this one a chance.

Truly one of the greatest albums ever made. But for a moment, lets forget about it's huge, huge, huge influence on heavy metal; pretend that never happened.
You still have an absolute super-masterpiece that combines the best of two kinds of sound engineering: It combines minimalist, songwriting-based awesomeness with terrifyingly beautiful atmosphere (helped in part by Rodger Bain's ingenious sound effects). There are five tracks on here, and even though they all are jam-heavy, none of them even contain a single sixty seconds of filler each.

I only discovered Black Sabbath recently, and I must say it was a great surprise (I am prejudiced against hard rock in general, but I'm willing to change). Wonderful atmosphere, great sound, and a peculiar talent for intros.

I swear! You haven't even listened to this one! You just picked one track that isn't the most known track on random!

Anyway (that previous post probably missed it's intended mark), great album there. Not as good as the masterpiece that is Paranoid but very good indeed.
