Sometimes you click like or dislike, and want to retract it, because you neither like or dislike it.

There should be an "unlike" button.

Exactly. It annoys me when I click 'like' accidentally, and then I try to neutralize the vote by clicking on 'dislike'. Instead, it gets back TWO VOTES (from when I had clicked 'like')!

sounds a sensible idea. I'll add a cancel option which will allow you to remove your vote if you have already rated something.

As an aside, the reason it seems to go back two votes is that if something starts off at +1 and then you +1 it as well, it will be +2. Now, if you -1 the item to 'cancel' your vote, your original +1 vote is removed and the -1 would then take it back to zero (seemingly two notches).

Yeah, that's the thing that annoys me. A cancel option would be good, though. Thanks in advance Wink
