I hate Hip Hop skits - this is one of the worst - off one of the best Hip Hop albums too!

I can't find it on youtube but "Mr. Hood Gets A Haircut" from KMD's Mr. Hood is pretty hilarious.

Although there are exceptions, skits are generally for the worse.

most people tend to think skits ruin an album. However, I've come across quite a few hardcore hip-hop enthusiasts who believe it's almost become necessary to the hip-hop album. My favorite hip-hop albums tend to have some form of skits on them, and I think they add crucial character to those albums

a favorite

I think the skits in Enter the Wu-Tang add something special.. Make the album kind of like "from the life of..." sort of thingy if you know what I mean. Well I guess that's what generally the point of the skits is, but this is probably the only case where I love them.
