Seem to have exhausted the majority of popular music of the last 60 years and struggle to find anything new to get into..
I like some of the tripped out production on some of the stuff by "Animal Collective", "High Places" etc but the tunes are pretty.. well tuneless
Anyone recommend anything new? Or something similar to maybe Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream but.. with more psychadelic production? _________________ no fat chicks

I'm not that well-versed in 2000 music however, you may find De-loused in the Commatorium by the Mars Volta satisfying, as the production on a number of the tracks is very psychedelic.

Here are a few selections, some old, some new:
1. Buffalo Springfield Again (1968) - Buffalo Springfield
*Superstar group with a variety of styles on this album.
2. Wolfmother (2006) - Wolfmother
*Dynamic music from 3 outstanding musicians.
3. The Game (1980) - Queen
*The Best Queen album, in my opinion.
4. Consolers of the Lonely (2008) - The Racontuers
*Jack White's (White Stripes) side project. Check out first album as well.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks for that guys.
I do have a few of the albums mentioned but am working my way through the other suggestions. I've heard a couple of great tracks from Arcade Fire and just got Funeral and Neon Bible so we'll see how that goes..
Cheers. _________________ no fat chicks

Definitely The Mars Volta... Frances The Mute needs more time to grow but is far more satisfying... _________________ we used to be alright...
