It's been fascinating to watch the evolution of this chart. As I recall, it started off a very mixed bag with some good as well as questionable picks by rock aficionado standards. But this chart has grown and changed over and over, going from a caterpillar to quite the butterfly, I would say. I nominate Applerill for most changed member, since joining the site, and certainly this might be one of the charts that has changed the most over time. I like and agree with a lot more of it now too.

If you compared the Chart of the Day version of my chart with the current one.....

Well, anyway, this is a great chart, with many cool choices, like The Beatles, Freak Out, Trout Mask Replica, Meet the Residents, etc. 100/100 for sure.

I'm not a fan of most of this chart but Applerill has brought attention to some great finds through it like Dopethrone and The Butcher's Ballroom. I'm a fan of Pinkerton at #1; reminds me of johnnyrocketfingers.

If it weren't for the 1-album-per-artist limit, the Blue Album would be in my top 5, too Very Happy

Every album I recognise I respect! Which justs makes me want to go out and listen to the ones I'm unfamiliar with. Cool chart.
