Nice analogy.

loaded is like a dead album, or the other way around _________________ "I would expect something wrong with the poll if the chart favorite was not the poll winner" - naples 12-8-11

You can make a case for that, definitely. _________________ I love all music. It makes you feel like living. Silence is death.

WLWH,purely on the strength of that one seminal track alone is no contest for the tame Loaded. I don't understand why the latter is apparently so well regarded. But then I don't get OK Computer, Dark Side or Sgt Peppers either. |
And then there are I Heard Her Call My Name, White Light/White Heat, and The Gift too on the same album.
Never got why Loaded was so well regarded either. Alright, it's a good album, but WL/WH just blows almost every other album completely out of the water. Let alone an album which can't even crack my top 100. What would it be doing against the 5th best album ever?

White Light White Heat has the Cale factor. It is the better album. Loaded does have some great songs though.

White Light/White Heat is back on top now, and quite substantially, too.
I wonder if this post had anything to do with it

Exactly. The band lost all their steam when he left. _________________ I love all music. It makes you feel like living. Silence is death.
