Very Happy Love this album. #6 on my chart.

Not a single song I don't like. It has fun songs, sad songs, emotional songs, and it all seems to tie together perfectly.

Only Living Boy In New York is my favourite track though. I always picture myself with a guitar, sitting in a park in New York, singing along. A clean, nice version of New York Smile

100/100

stupid fuck

Whoa! Easy!

To be fair though we don't really need to be told what the best known track is on each album. Besides, 'best' is subjective, how about telling us what your favourite is? Or is your favourite always the song that's most well known?

My suggestion would be that it's more interesting to say: Best Track - [insert track name], BECAUSE [insert reason why]. Saying an opinion without context has less meaning.

Yet still, the oversimplistic style is drawing interest anyway. I doubt this sort of comment has been helpful to anyone, yet... it's getting a reaction from certain people.

I've always loved this album. A few nights ago, I saw a documentary about the making of this album (I believe it was on VH1 Classic). "Bridge Over Troubled Water" was written especially for Art Garfunkel...and the result is gorgeous. "So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright" and "The Boxer" are two of my all-time favorites. In the documentary. Art and Paul talked about a song that was left off this album because it seemed too political at that time. I heard Simon play a bit of it on that show. It was called "Cuba Si, Nixon No." I thought it was rather catchy. Does anyone know if this song exists somewhere (maybe a bonus track or as part of a box set), in its entirety? I'd be interested in hearing it.

Anyway, too bad this would be their last offering as a team. They were brilliant.

Great album (but prefer Bookends) The Boxer is probably my favourite from this one.
