100% Football not heard of anywhere in the uk that calls it anything else. Apart from the scots who often say 'fetbaw' but obviously not spelt like that :p
In Canada, we're like most North Americans and call it soccer, unless you're a fan. Then it's football. If like me, you're a fan of West Ham United, you call it disappointment. Or frustration. Or tragedy.
I'm not that much of a cynic really, I'm gonna get well into the Euros this year.
I struggle to get excited about club football though, although it doesn't help that there's not a decent side within 100 miles. _________________ Shut up mate you're boring!
Did anyone see Panorama the other night about racism in Ukraine and Poland ahead of the Euros.One complaint i'd have about football is the governing bodies have no clue how to run the game.It was a terrible decision to have the tournament in countries with such problems,so much so that not only fans are avoiding going but apparently the families of some of the English players.
