Music taste really isn't important in a relationship. When I first started going out with my current girlfriend, I was appalled at her taste in music, and I thought it actually might be an issue. But 4 years later I remain disgusted at her taste in music, and remain happy with her.
Also as a side note, she recently told me she hasn't liked any of the new music I've gotten into in like 2 years. Funnily enough that's all the music I've gotten into since joining BEA. So that should confirm to us all that her taste in music is awful.

haha funny you mention that, she specifically said that's the last band I got into that she liked (we've seen them live twice together, the only concerts I've convinced her to go to with me). I got into them right before I joined here.
