I've grown a personal distaste to listening to songs individually, though I still do so from time to time... I just prefer the whole experience of a complete work. This album especially. It's damn near impossible to bring myself to listen to just one song on Dark Side without listening to it in context with the rest of the album.

YES

But on-topic, this may not be my favorite album of all time, but it's certainly the very best. I know it sounds cliche, but it's true.

Yes, but it's still great.

The best non-beatles album ever.

Lol.

Actually, in all fairness, Abbey Road is better than this.

I do like this album quite a lot (90/100), but even as epic as it is, I still think Wish You Were Here is better. It still might slip in my top 100 if I let more than 1 album per artist.

Best songs: Great Gig In The Sky & Us And Them

I agree wholeheartedly. This is the one and only album ever produced that I would call absolutely perfect. With this album, Pink Floyd managed to create sounds and sonic textures that no one had even dreamed of at this point. Never before or since has such an eclectic array of styles and influences come together so perfectly to create a sound previously thought unattainable. I doubt anything like this album will ever be created again.
