I never really understood why this one was ranked as Metallica's 2nd best. I consider Ride the Lightning and ...And Justice for All to be far superior.

Nevertheless, it's a good album. Certainly better than what followed...

Sad But True and Wherever I May Roam are my favorites on the Metallica (black) album.

This seems like a singles collection, I haven't listened to it but I recognize more than half the songs.

Good to have something not tn the top 20 (Not that I really have much to contribute on this one)Mr. Green

It's ok I guess. I hate "Nothing Else Matters" though.
