Hey BEA.

As many of you know, I've been working on an album for the past while. Smile

I am glad to say, that after the long, eventful, and incredible journey, the mixtape is finished. Smile

I had planned a later release date, but it was finished a bit earlier than expected Smile

I would like to thank Jhereko & Applerill for helping out on several tracks Smile And I would also like to thank all of the other recording engineers, producers and other people involved, who shall probably never read this.

Candles
Hayden Who

1. Subtle, Unsublte
2. MCMXLII
3. Grapes
4. Interlude I
5. Animalshej Ghat
6. Streets Around The World
7. Alpha, Charlie, India & Delta (My Friends)
8. Candles
9. Interlude II
10. Whispers Pt. I-IV

Now, where do you find this, you say? Think Well, I decided to make a separate, completely unnecessary website for the event Very Happy So, if you wish, visit (http://haydenwho.webs.com) to click on the artwork, and be redirected to a mediafire download Smile

Hope you guys enjoy it! Very Happy

I plan to add it to our site's database shortly, so please rate Smile (honestly...not the '100/100' friendly approach thing, unless, of course, it's just plain fucking amazingness) .

NOTICE:For all of the people who expected a cover version of Pink Floyds 'Wish You Were Here', it was unfortunately cut from the album. I do have a version of it, that I'm not too fond of, that I will put up if anyone wants. Bit of a shame, but it really didn't fit.

Nice cover art - not so sure about your choice of placement for the name on the album, though.

I wasn't expecting that !!!

Reminded me of :

Sigur Rós - Ný Batterí

Link

and

Robert Wyatt - Little Red Riding Hood Hit The Road

Link

As a school project : 95/100

As an album : 70/100 - not a fan of "Grapes" or "Candles".... or the Interludes. Love the rest !!

Great to hear, and thanks Very Happy

Little Red Riding Hoot Hit The Road? Think Maybe slight bits in there, but I'm surprised that was one of your 2 examples. Ny Batteri and the last song do have a slight resemblance I guess Razz

And a 65/100 is probably what I would have given it, if it were someone else's work. It was a bit difficult critiquing it, but I assumed it sounded around there. But a 70/100 is a great rating Smile Thanks!

As Applerill stated, it was his solo on Grapes. That's the only song that seems to be either hit or miss on the album Razz I had someone state it was their favourite track just over an hour ago.

Avant-garde jazz really isn't my thing, with a couple possible exceptions.

This was pretty good, though.

My only really complaint is in that I don't feel enough emotional investment in the album; it can be a tad too cold and lifeless at points. Other than that, pretty vivid.
