Just saw Russell Haswell, Not Waving, and Powell live for the Diagonal Records 5th anniversary tour. It was incredible. Not Waving did way extended versions of I Know I Know I Know and 24, and all of the distortion was like exponentially greater than on record, it was awesome. And I had so much fun dancing to Powell, his new single is OK but the other new songs he was playing were on a whole other level, that album is really going to be something.

And it was magical especially the tracks of If You're Feeling Sinister and of that especially the Stars of Track and Field. There was a lot of interaction with the public and Stuart Lee Murdoch even went into the public to shake hands with nearly everybody.

heading out later tonight to see Michael Tilson Thomas conducting Steve Reich & musicians. Last time I saw Reich (with Philip Glass) it was quite possibly the best concert experience of my life, so I'm really excited
