Bit of positivitay (which should make outlaw happy Wink ).

Best song titles?

My all time favourite is "And The Gods Made Love" - Jimi Hendrix

Maybe its not completely a song as such but the sounds fit the clever title so well.

I guess I'm a fan of song titles with animals because the first two to come to mind for me:

Possum Kingdom- The Toadies
The Dam At Otter Creek- Live

Don't know why I just think they sound really cool.

Some other's I really like:
Problems And Bigger Ones- Harvey Danger
Ocean Breathes Salty- Modest Mouse
King Of Carrot Flowers- Neutral Milk Hotel
Packt Like Sardines In A Crushd Tin Box- Radiohead
Mine's Not A High Horse- The Shins
The Tale Of Dusty & Pistol Pete- Smashing Pumpkins
Bullet With Butterfly Wings- Smashing Pumpkins
300 M.P.H Torrential Outpour Blues- White Stripes

Hobo Chang Ba - Captain Beefheart
Low Kick and Hard Bop - Solex
Helter Skelter - The Beatles
Chances are the Comets in Our Future - Royal Trux
War Sucks - The Red Crayola
Tombstone Blues - Bob Dylan

Just a few of the top of my head, because I'm lazy. Some of these are REALLY brilliant IMO though, and the others aren't bad.

Some great song titles:

Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell - The Flaming Lips
In A State of Permanent Abyss - The Future Sound of London
Interstellar Overdrive - Pink Floyd
Don't Fight It, Feel It - Primal Scream
Give Out But Don't Give Up - Primal Scream

I generally like spacey/psychedelic song titles.

Thanks for reminding me! The Flaming Lips have some great titles, e.g. "Drug Machine in Heaven", "Michael, Time to Wake Up", "Chrome Plated Suicide", "Hari-Krishna Stomp Wagon (Fuck Led Zeppelin)", "The Spontaneous Combustion of John" and "Hell's Angel's Cracker Factory" from Telepathic Surgery alone.

Yes, but I didn't want to bore people with Flaming Lips titles all over the place! Smile
