It was foolish of me to omit Kind of Blue from my list, it had been awhile since I heard it. I'm listening to it now and I'd put it right after Shape of Jazz to Come. It's a beautiful record.

Kind of Blue was my first jazz record. Still my favorite (though Black Saint is pretty damn close) _________________ "I'm so ugly but that's OK cause so are you"

Escalator over hill has to be the most prententious and overrated compisition of music ever written. For something good with the name bley on it check out Open, to love by paul bley or Tropic Appetites by Carla Bley. _________________ "The future is unwritten."
