This is definitely ranked way too high on this site. Very boring album. Fix You is the only tolerable song. I might have liked talk if I didn't know the song Computer Love.

I like this album.
Lots of samey sounding songs going on for a little too long overall - but it's a nice sound for them to be sounding like.
Fix You is incredible, as is Speed of Sound and I personally have a soft spot for White Shadows.
Finally Till Kingdom Come is a sweet song to end on, and pretty sad seeing as Johnny Cash died before he could provide vocals for it.

I agree. There's nothing horrible about this album, but Coldplay are repeating themselves. They are safe and bland on this album.

Very underrated. Coldplay's second best album after "A Rush of Blood to the Head".
Best tracks: "What If", "Square One", "White Shadows", "X&Y".
