A classic.
So many gems here, mostly disc 2, But....
Hot thing, Housequake, U got the Look, The Cross, I could never take the place of your man.
Prince's 3rd best album after Purple Rain and Dirty Mind.
Applause

This and Purple Rain always compete for his best. Purple Rain normally wins by a smidgen. Razz

One of several masterpieces Prince released during the 80's. His music has held up incredibly well in comparison to a lot of his contemporaries. The album also shows Prince's mastery of both the "political song" (Sign 'O' Times) and the pop song (I could never take the place of your man).

One of the greatest double albums ever made. It's one Prince's 3 best albums (alongside 1999 and Purple Rain)

is there a rule with you where the title track is always the best?
