Wow, the thread title makes this look like a post-rock album.

Pretty top album, but doesn't really come close to Low.
Beauty and the Beast is brilliant quirky and Heroes is Bowie's finest song in my opinion, purely because of the passion and production put together to create some powerful vocals.

Very hit and miss compared to Low I think.
Obviously the title track is the standout song.

Low is his best, but this is a close second. "Heroes" is of course not only the best song on the album, but also Bowie's best and one of the best of all time. However, my favorite track is probably "Moss Garden". It really shows the influence that Eno had on Bowie during this period and for some reason, it sounds very "Japanese" to me as well. Really, the Berlin Trilogy is one of the best runs of albums of all time, like has been stated before. All three of the albums are masterpieces and could be considered Bowie's best.

Ill echo the comments that this is inferior to Low when it comes to the berlin records. Probably one of my least favorite 70s records from Bowie, which still means its an excellent album of course.

I think this album has its moments, but after listening to Low first and then hearing all the praise given to "Heroes", I felt a bit let down. The title track is great and I like V-2 Schneider and Secret Life of Arabia, but Joe the Lion isn't to great. _________________ Hey look, there at the back

This is a really sweet album, especially the first half. The only real miss is the closing track, I think.

I can agree with this.
I like this a whole lot better than Low (although I haven't listened to Low for ages) because it actually has a 'centrepiece' song (Heroes).
