I don't know what to think of this album.

The production is too hi-fi for me, but I LOVE the melodies.

Broken Social Scene is similar to what I imagine the result would be if Arcade Fire were eaten, digested, and shat back out 3 or 4 times. ALMOST as bad as Mumford and Sons, but not quite.

SMH

On a surface level You Forgot It In People a full house of indie anthems with killer riffs (and if that was all it was, at the quality of the musicianship that's on display here - that'd be fine). But it's much deeper than that and every listen (from my first listen when I just didn't like it) it reveals more and more.

Oh and it's much better than anything Arcade Fire have done.

Switch Arcade Fire with Broken Social Scene.

What does that have to do with anything? That's why I said they're like what the result would be if Arcade Fire were eaten, digested, and shat out three or four times. I didn't say they literally were that.
