I wasn't a fan of this album until a couple months ago, and I've had it since release. It's a little immature in some places, but overall very spiritual. A rewarding listen

I think it is great. The production and atmosphere are obviously first rate, but also I like the way he structures his songs around constantly repeating one or two melodic ideas, while changing whats going on around them: building layers of sound, vocal effects, the rhythms, occasionally the chord progressions...
There are just a lot of neat structures: like how measurements starts off with just one vocal track and some backing keyboards, but as he repeats the melody, the keyboards slowly disappear while more layers of vocals come up.
Of course its engaging on an emotional level too: very downbeat and melancholy.

This is a beautiful album that grows and grows and grows.Initially I didn't like it as it was a world away from his first three EP's which I adore. But once I understood it and delved further into and most importantly invested myself in it I found it to be one of the most rewarding listening experiences I've ever had. This man is the future, get used to it mofos.
