One Direction don't count. They'll always be bad
The guy in the red hoodie wasn't bad. I've heard things about him, and it was actually a nice performance. Not sure why it was HIM over so many other people, but it was ok. The cover reenactment was amazing though. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!

Great to see Elbow got such a big moment, even if they did play the two most obvious songs.
Other than that is was alright, nothing too great though.
Shouldn't Radiohead have had SOME part in it though? I understand it's not really the kind of music that gets people cheery and going, but just something.
It would have been awesome if it went dark and then the first part of Everything Is In Its Right Place started playing.

They did a separate concert in Hyde Park with New Order,The Specials and Bombay Bicycle Club.Seems to have gone down well, but from what I seen on twitter the sound was poor.

Elbow must have done a good job because their album from four years ago is currently at number 6 on the iTunes charts.

Yeah it was great. However the Australian coverage had the commentators speaking over the top of their two songs. They didn't even acknowledge them at all.

That was the most annoying part of the whole thing! One note at a time please Jessie.
The whole thing was pretty poor in comparison to the opening. Although Ray Davis and The Who were excellent.
I enjoyed the reference to the album cover during the WYWH performance, probably the only time in my life I'll be able to shout "Now set him on fire!" and it happens.
