Beefheart could have been a classic rock favorite if he wanted to. Forget The Doors, Cream, Eric Clapton and such, this is what blues rock should be like: fiery and sprawling.

Hmm.. I've never seen blues as something that should be fiery and sprawling, more like something that should be melancholic and depressing! _________________ "The Beatles, the greatest band known to mankind." - Bismah Mughal

The first side of this album is pretty much perfect.
The second side is a little hit and miss. But even then it is pretty great.

Also I've never seen blues and blues rock as being the same thing.

Okay, Borve Baunehoj, I give up! You win! I was reading with a speed of 2000 light years per hour, I didn't notice you sneaked a little "rock" behind the blues!
Anyway, I like this album, it's good and the genre is music (some sort of)! If you didn't like "Trout Mask Replica", but you do like Björk's voice, maybe this is something for you.. or maybe not, Sure 'Nuff 'n Yes I Do!! _________________ "The Beatles, the greatest band known to mankind." - Bismah Mughal

I don't get this album or the Capt in general. I've tried so hard, but it just doesn't work for me.
