Wall Noise sounds like it's manipulating/destroying your brain, especially with headphones.
Lowercase is the equivalent of 'painters' who sell a blank canvas, or throw paint onto a canvas and call it 'art'.
I can hear some musicality in Musique Concrete, but I'd still rather just listen to Experimental Rock or Ambient.
and field recordings... I have no idea.
First impression of Wall Noise - there's something about this... the mix between the surface static and the wind-ish noise underneath. I think I like it, although it's difficult to understand the thought process behind this.
First impression of lowercase - Sounds a bit like music concrete. There's a mood to this... uhh... song? Do you call these "songs"? Anyway, I feel it. It's pleasant.
I've heard musique concrete before. The sound in the video is different to Bernard's work. I much prefer Bernard to say the least.
Field Recordings - Like Wall Noise, there's something... but I don't understand the process. Do they just take recording equipment outside like in the movie Blow Out? Like this static-y stuff, I could probably listen to birds chirping all day too. So... I have no clue.
This type of shit really has questioned and continues to question my music presumptions, or what music even is in the first place. Fucking damnit I don't know what to think anymore...
