Clearly just a plot by LA Weekly to get more traffic onto it's site,Bon Iver,Arcade Fire,Black Keys, etc. all have huge followings of fans that will blog, link, twitter, facebook, etc. in outrage.Don't feed the trolls man.

But if I was making a list it'd probably be

1:Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti
2:Oneohtrix Point Never
3:Destroyer
4:Sleigh Bells
5:Grimes

Yeah. Think I think they just went to pitchfork year end lists, picked a few and said that they were bad. For controversy, etc.

Haha. Most of these bands aren't what I'd call hipster, though. My hipster friends regularly make fun of me for liking Black Keys, fun, and Death Cab. Arcade Fire, and MGMT are pretty mainstream too.
