It's a very good list. Just admit that "#81. 1962-1966 by The Beatles (1973)" doesn't belong and be done with it. You made a nice list. Including comps of non-70s music is silly though.
No angst. Just feels like it doesn't belong there. Better to just pick album of music written and recorded at that time otherwise you end up overstating a band's body of work.
Yes I understand your feelings. Nevertheless, I don't feel that an album chart is the same as a music chart. The former lists albums often in chronological order of release or by some ranking criteria.
