Just a query on why this has recently been heavily moderated. Pacifica, an album that was released in Aus on the 7th has been 'nulled' due to a release date elsewhere of the 14th.

Also, Grizzly Bear's Shields has been leaked for a while and why I can see that BEA may not wish to endorse illegal downloads, why do we need to 'null' an entry if it is going to appear anyway?

The BEA database only contains official releases, & by definition, excluded from that, is anything that hasn't been released yet. Once an album has been officially released, the year of release will get populated and the album will be de-flagged. Release dates move, albums get pulled etc, so it stops the database containing potentially wrong information. Pacifica sounds like it has been released already, so that'll get updated.

Not that i agree or disagree with this decision, but it seems this approach opens BEA up for more duplicate albums. I've seen a few for "future" 2012 releases so far.
