Undeniably great list but certainly self-consciously alternative. Quite honestly, Pavement and the Pixies are overrated while the Beatles, Bob Dylan, the Who, Bruce Springsteen and Led Zeppelin really are not. (Not a single album by any one of them here.) I appreciate your right to differ, though.
