One of my all time favorite albums, but no way will I fork over the money for this. Partly because as much as I love the Pumpkins, I think Billy Corgan is a douche. I would never see them on tour anymore either with just him and 3 other fruit loops.

The stuff that ended up on the cutting room floor ended up there for a reason. It was not good enough to be on the album (or the next one).

As Marty Robbins would say, "El Paso".

If they release it with just the original track list that's all remastered, I'll buy the shit out of this. That shouldn't be too much, right? like under $40?

I like the album, but I wouldn't line Corgan's pockets. Last year the man was bemoaning Pavement's re-union as "money-grabbing". The Smashing Pumpkins were on major label contracts throughout their career. He wanted to be a fucking star from the start, and now he has the nerve to accuse other bands of being money-hungry. Plus, besides this album his work is fucking shite.

Agree with everything besides that last sentence. Even if you don't like Gish, or anything after Mellon Collie, you really think Siamese Dream is "shite"? Ridiculously good album.

Yeah, I just don't like it. Although 'Today' is a good pop song. But I get why people like it, it just does very little for me.

Fair enough, many albums where that's the case for me as well. Soma is probably one of my 5 favorite songs of all time.

But back to your main point, I agree that I would never spend money that goes to Billy Corgan in any way. As much as I love those two albums, I can't stand that man. Such a tool.
