As I said in Skype chat, I think it should be team based. You can field three major works from each author. Possibly using short stories and poems as auxiliary? Also, do plays/screenplays count, because one of my nominees, Cormac, has some scripts under his belt.

Like for example:

Not quite a big enough reader to participate, but i'll be keeping close tabs and voting on what I can.

Currently re-reading The Hobbit in anticipation of the movie coming out later this month. Kind of upset they are splitting it into 3 movies, seems a bit unnecessary. Although I hate when movies cut out a ton from books, so I guess I can't complain too much.
