- Post subject: Albums like A Love Supreme, Journey in Satchidananda?
|
Can anyone recommend me some mid/slow paced jazz with a kind of hypnotic groove to it? I know it's a bit vague and there's probably a lot of it out there but I'm new to jazz so I don't know where to look. I really enjoy A Love Supreme, Journey in Satchidananda, Laughing Stock and Spirit of Eden. I've tried In a Silent Way and liked it, but I don't really get the unique feeling from that as the albums I mentioned before. Thanks.

I've got Black Saint but not listened to it properly yet, love Flying Lotus. Never heard of Pharoah Sanders I'll make sure to check out Karma. Thanks!

For if you want something that's chill yet emotionally driven. It's not Jazz, though.
