I'm shocked at how...well... Above average, the nominations are Razz

Call Me Maybe not being mentioned for record of the year is weird Think Considering..like, cause it is.

And fun. being nominated for best new artist is kinda funny Laughing It's like Bon Iver all over again.

I didn't think of M83, Tom Waits, Fiona Apple & Frank Ocean to even be considered... But cool Smile

Might actually watch this years grammys Laughing

The alternative nominations seem quite good, until you realise that Gotye is going to beat Fiona Apple, Björk, M83 and Tom Waits.

If you replace alternative albums nominees with album of the year nominees, I'd quite like it.

Did last year lower everybody's expectations so much? Plenty of stuff is missing, even in sub-categories. And did GKMC miss the deadline or did they "forget it"?

It had to have missed the deadline because Drake's album came out around the same time last year and is in this pool, and you would think Tame Impala would have been nominated for something.

fun. for Best New Artist is hilarious though.
