Thomas is bat-shit crazy because of chosen ideological views. Bryzgalov is just bat-shit crazy. |
I kind of feel the same way about The Flyers, I respect the franchise more than hate it. I have more hate for a number of teams, starting with the Canadians and Rangers. It'll be interesting to watch Seguin this year, apparently he tore up whatever league he was playing in overseas. And it's time to see if Rask is ready to be a top end #1 goalie.
And yes Bryzgalov is crazy. Streaky player but when he's on he's damn good. At least he isn't" taking a break" from hockey when he's playing the best hockey of his career and getting very old in the process.

and there it is... The Edmonton stereotype. Can't pass up an opportunity to take a shot at Calgary. (Although in this case, you're not wrong. They should have blown up and rebuilt 2 years ago.) _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.

Colorado Rockies Opening Day April 1st in Milwaukee, home opener April 5th vs. San Diego. Final season for Todd Helton.
That's all I have to say about the NHL. _________________ May we all get to heaven

Haha well it's not like I'm pleased with the way the oilers did it. "Hey let's just make shitty desicions for 4 years and pile up good draft picks". The Flames just signed hilariously stupid contracts this year (Wideman, Hudler) which is mostly what I'm laughing at

Too bad with American time zones, I enjoy watching ice hockey a lot. Much higher tempo and intensity (and fighting ) than in handball and soccer, which are pretty much the only two existing sports in my country

Hilariously stupid contracts this year? How about other years? (Jokinen, Stajan, etc...) _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.

I'm a casual hockey fan so I'm glad to see it back. I usually don't start paying attention until after football is over anyway so it's going to work out just fine as far as I'm concerned.
I do find with this sport more than any other it is much more enjoyable when you are there rather than watching it on TV.
Go Lightning!

Very true. although that's not to say it isn't extremely enjoyable on tv. I've gotten to the point where hockey is the only sport (excluding playoffs) where it's worth the trip, money, and overall hassle to go to a game. And football at this point is way more enjoyable at home with how great the coverage is. Would still kill to go to a Pats playoff game though.
And you must account for about 1/10th of the Tampa Bay Lightning fandom.
