Portishead - Dummy.

Portishead sounds good for their genre, but I guess trip-hop isn't my thing.

Girl can sing, though. Kinda like a trip-hop Adele.

This was Hayden's suggestion. Thanks Hayden.

Outlaw recommended me Chairlift.

I already knew the track Bruises from their previous album, but I really enjoyed this one. Nothing spectacular or revolutionary, but good - a bit of fun.

albums currently in my chart that I picked up primarily because of BEA, whether directly recommended or not:

Talk Talk - Laughing Stock (theharrisonfords)
Van Morrison - Astral Weeks (heard it, hated it, hairymarx encouraged another listen, loved it)
Red House Painters - Down Colorful Hill (joannajewsom)
Dirty Three - Ocean Songs (CellarDoor)
Slint - Spiderland (???)
Talk Talk - Spirit Of Eden (theharrisonfords)
Charles Mingus - The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady (???)
Grouper - Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill (Saiorse)
William Basinski - The Disintegration Loops (CellarDoor)
Sun Kil Moon - Ghosts of the Great Highway (Borve Baunehoj)
Built To Spill - Perfect From Now On (???)
The Microphones - The Glow Pt. 2 (CellarDoor)
Swans - Soundtracks For the Blind (CellarDoor)
Slowdive - Souvlaki (???)
Talking Heads - Remain in Light (theharrisonfords)
Can - Tago Mago (???)
Women - Public Strain (theharrisonfords)
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - F#A# (CellarDoor)
Exuma - Exuma I (theharrisonfords)
Led Zeppelin III (theharrisonfords)
Brian Jonestown Massacre - Methodrone (CellarDoor)
Mercury Rev - Yerself Is Steam (???)
Cut Copy - In Ghost Colours (Jhereko)

Albums from (???) means I just saw the album on several charts here and decided to check it out. There's a couple handfuls of users that I consistently take recommendations from (just got a twee playlist from Magenta that I'm excited about), but obviously there's two users who really got my taste down (unfortunately, one hasn't been active for some time now).

BEA and RYM are more or less responsable for my chart as it looks like at the moment. There are a lot of the albums which I've just found in the overall chart, so I'll only list those who I remember to pick up directly from one user:

Talk Talk - Laughing Stock (purple)
Nick Drake - Pink Moon (Norman Bates)
Miles Davis - In a Silent Way (CellarDoor)
Joanna Newsom - Ys (purple)
Love - Forever Changes (Norman Bates)
Boards of Canada - Music Has the Right to Children (Norman Bates)
The Avalanches - Since I Left You (purple)
Red House Painters - Red House Painters (Norman Bates)
Mark Hollis - Mark Hollis (Norman Bates)
The Congos - Heart of The Congos (lethalnezzle)
Aphex Twin - Richard D. James Album (Norman Bates)
This Heat - Deceit (CellarDoor)
Nicolas Jaar - Space Is Only Noise (CellarDoor)
Pharoah Sanders - Karma (Norman Bates)
Syd Barrett - The Madcap Laughs (Norman Bates)
Sly & the Family Stone - There's a Riot Goin' On (purple)
The Modern Lovers - The Modern Lovers (lethalnezzle)
Mazzy Star - Among My Swan (Norman Bates)
Glenn Branca - The Ascension (CellarDoor)
Galaxie 500 - On Fire (CellarDoor)
Built to Spill - Perfect from Now On (CellarDoor)
Jandek - Ready for the House (CellarDoor)

Very little variety in users. I guess I have my favorite charts
