Night music. A little filler (Near Dark, Homeless), the rest is glorious

This album has the same effect on me as Loveless,I just get lost in it.I put this on,go for a walk and wind up 50 minutes from my house with my eyes sore from staring at the street lights.I'm a night person and I love atmospheric stuff like this, this has an added eerie vibe that compliments night time listening perfectly.

Burial is one of the best musicians of the past 5 years, and one of my favorites of all time, and this album is ground zero. The beginning of his tunnel to the underworld dance of the lonely, lustful, and depraved. Descension.
EDIT: I'm aware of his previous efforts, but this is where he really set the bar.

Such a great album. It's all fast-moving people in suits. It's all shiny marble floors and glass and metallic escalators. It's a series of gig lamps lit with deep blue LED lights (like the ones that strain the eye but are impossible not to admire). It undulates; it has a heartbeat. It's not just melody and harmony, its a language of punctuation. It's a world with open doors and petrichor. However you want to describe it, it just works. _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/ptaylor1989
