Probably my most recent music that I've been delving into. Just figured I'd make a thread for us to discuss this beautiful scene.

Sorry if there are any glaring omissions in this poll.

Haven't heard all of them, but I voted for TVU&N, though... I don't know if it could be fit in exactly under the psychedelic category. Axis: Bold Of Love though should definitely be included as well... Probably The United States Of America s/t too.

Wow, never realized how great all those albums were. Never listened to Country Joe and that Grateful Dead record, though, but they've been on my list for a long time now.

Anyway, Forever Changes was an obvious choice for me, but half of those albums are actually on my chart, and I still love the others Laughing

This was a hard vote for me. In the end, I voted Surrealistic Pillow. Too bad Jefferson Starship Isn't as good as they once were.

Did you know their song "Jane" is sang by a guy? It sounds A LOT like a woman.

Definitely hard vote for me too but I went with Freak Out! I think The Doors is the overall best album here, but as far as psychedelic music goes, Freak Out! does it for me.
There is definitely no right answer here though. So much great music here.

My vote goes to Sgt. Pepper. But the obvious choice is, of course, Revolver by The Beatles! Wink

Haha I was limiting it to one album per band and I just personally enjoy Sgt. Pepper more than Revolver Razz
Plus I think Sgt. Pepper is more psychedelic.

You should hit up hairymarx1 and TracyJacks if you plan on delving into psychedelia.
