Hi. This Thread can make the rating of some underrated albums become at least become closer to the reality !
Everyone knows some albums that thinks are too underrated for it's score .

I don't mean to sound rude, but this topic has been done to death.

No worries. I'd suggest just scrolling back through a few pages, you'll soon enough find a topic on underrated artists.

The problem with these threads is that they're self-indulgent.
We all have those albums that mean a lot to us that aren't very high in the charts, but no one cares. Why would someone chose to listen to an album because one person in a thread said you should, rather than listening to an album in the top 200, that hundreds of people have put in their charts. I'd love to post some obscurer albums that I know and think should be higher, but so does everyone else, and you can't have an interesting discussion from all talking, no listening.
It's not just this thread, many on this site are the same.

i wonder isn't it possible to add some kind of search functionality to the forums to avoid such duplications?

Hmm. I think it's more of a personal/general thing here. In these threads, people don't feel like it's personal and won't take these seriously, while in a chart comment or a message, they feel the choice as personalized and you're more obligated to listen to the recommendation.

If you post something with similar keywords to other posts it'll warn you and list those similar pages.
I recently was going to make a "Guilty Pleasures" thread but learnt there were 3 past ones just after posting.
