- Post subject: Who Should Be in the Upcoming Metal Gear Movie?

I won't be posting often, but I'm putting this topic here because I thought it would be a great thread for discussion.
Here's what I know about the Metal Gear movie:
First of all, many fans of the series want someone like Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, or Kurt Russell. Some even wanted (believe it or not) Bear Grylls from Man vs. Wild. Why?
Second. the creator of Metal Gear wanted Kurt Wimmer to direct the film. If you want a director, don't choose him. He's good as a SCREENWRITER, but not as a director Get someone like Kathryn Bigelow.
That's just my opinion. I will hardly be posting here, but I think people would like this thread. It's a heavy discussion on many websites.

It would be awesome if they pulled it off well, but this whole adaptation is a distant dream at this moment. The last time anyone possibly associated with the project mentioned anything about it was back in 2008.

Actually, press release in 2012 says it's in pre - production.

It would be pretty cool. The plot could be amazing if they could pull it off well - not too simplified, but neither a convfusing mess.

This belongs in the live action dream-casts thread. Can someone pull some mod sorcery and lock this or merge the two or whatever you guys do?

This thread is for DISCUSSING who should be in it, and how we think the movie should be likeor will be like, not for just posting a dream cast.

The Poll gives me 2 options, Yes they should make a movie, or No the games are bad. What if I believe that the games are amazing, but I dont want to see a movie?
