I thought it was a bad idea at first, too. And for a few weeks it was bad, but then it became so-so, then OK, now it's AT THE MOST 7.3 out of 10. Not great, but good enough for me. It's just supposed to be something new and unexpected. And you know what? Joss Whedon was laughed at for trying to make Firefly, a space-western, but that show was actually good for the 14 episodes it ran. So when people laugh at me, I feel good about myself. So suck on that.

Woah okay. But seriously please post this when you think it is somewhat of a finished state.

And yeah Firefly kicks ass.

It's in script form, so I'll have to transfer it into book form, which I'm best at. I'll only put a short amount on for you. When it's finished, I'll let you know. But first I wanna work on my novel. And I won't give off ANY info on that. I love surprises.

...No one laughed at that. In fact, everyone thought it was a great idea and it was pretty highly anticipated.

Not to mention the whole idea of a "space western" wasn't really all THAT radical or new. Cowboy Bebop? Bravestarr? Outland?

Exactly, technically "Star Wars" is a space western

From what I've read, there were people who thought the idea was weird.

But yeah. Firefly is awesome.
